How this works

No crystal ball — just a hand-detection model running in your browser.

    Capture

    Your camera takes a still photo of your palm. The image stays in this browser tab — it is never uploaded to a server.

    Detect the hand

    A small machine-learning model (Google's MediaPipe Hands) locates 21 reference points — fingertips, knuckles, the base of each finger, the wrist. We keep these hidden to preserve the mystery. ✨

  3. 3

    Anchor the palm lines

    Using those reference points, we work out where the four classic lines sit on your hand — the life, heart, head and fate lines — and trace them onto your photo.

  4. 4

    Generate a reading

    The playful reading is computed from the actual geometry of those traced lines — how long and how curved they are relative to your palm. Different hand, different reading.

Privacy: the model and all processing run locally in your browser via WebAssembly. The only network request is a one-time download of the detection model from a public CDN.
